Prabhas and Kamal Haasan unveiled the dystopian teaser of Project K, now titled Kalki 2898 AD at SDCC, watch

After much anticipation, actors Prabhas and Kamal Haasan unveiled the first teaser of their movie Project K which is titled Kalki 2898 AD. At the event titled ‘This is Project K: First Glimpse of India’s Mytho-Sci-fi Epic’ held at San Diego Comic-Con 2023, the multilingual sci-fi film’s first teaser was unveiled. The film has been directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies.

“When the world is taken over by darkness, a hero rises,” it says in the video. A dystopian world is shown in the first glimpse where the people are being ruled by some dark forces and technology. It further says, “When the world is taken over by darkness,  a force will arise. The end begins now.” Prabhas seems to be playing a warrior whereas Deepika Padukone is in the army and is in emotional turmoil. Amitabh Bachchan is seen draped in bandages.

Deepika Padukone missed the prevent in San Diego amid the ongoing actor’s strike in the US as she is the part of The Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).

Kalki 2898 AD is scheduled to release worldwide on January 12, 2024, in the Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and English languages.
